Reflection of the Week
Sept. 25, 2006

Grace

According to the Catholic Encyclopedia grace is a supernatural gift of God to intellectual creatures. Those intellectual creatures are us and God continually gives us gifts to live our lives and grow closer to him. I believe that many of us are not aware of all the times God gives us grace in our lives. There are moments when we do recognize God’s gifts and I describe these as grace-filled moments. Grace-filled moments may be being with friends, understanding a nagging homework problem, forgiving a family member or a thousand other moments. They’re moments that are touched with God’s love for us. This week be on the look-out for grace-filled moments in your life.
