New Beginnings

New beginnings surround us. A new school year has begun and as upperclassmen it probably does not feel like a new beginning. Even though it may not feel like a new beginning it really is. Here is a chance for a fresh start with new classes, new teachers, and new friends. This is also a year of preparation for a new beginning. Entering the unknown is often times exciting and scary. We are not quite sure of what to expect, yet we find ourselves hopeful for what is to come. New beginnings are a chance to reinvent oneself. It offers a chance to recreate how we want to live. Confirmation offers us this same new beginning. We find ourselves embarking on a journey that we are not quite sure where it is going to lead. It is a time that allows a closer look at our belief system. New beginnings are an amazing gift that allows us to continually grow.
